Been having a chuckle lately with all the pro/anti Junko/Jennifer/Yoon postings on USG.  It's particularly funny to listen to her "supporters," who keep writing that hobbyists need to "treat her like a person," "treat her like a lady," "don't treat her like a piece of meat," or that it's quid pro quo, where if you treat her well, she will treat you well, etc., etc., etc.  Speaking as someone who has rode (no pun intended) the Junko wave up and down, for years, I just laugh and shake my head, as these fellas just don't know.  Really.

While I don't want to place myself in the "anti-Junko" forces, I fully understand them.  To say that she is wildly fickle is a complete and utter understatement.  While I feel badly that she is referred to as possibly bi-polar, or suffering from some other mental illness, I cannot rule these things out.  Combine this with the logical reasoning skills of a preteen, and it makes for a volatile mix.  I am guilty of yo-yoing her around on occasion, as I would entertain her manic notions at times.  She can be very charming and sweet, and capriciously swing around 180 degrees in a few minutes.  More often than not, the culprit was "jealously," fueled by her serious, serious insecurity.  I put "jealousy" in quotes because it usually isn't jealousy in the way that most adults mean it -- it's jealousy that we felt as infants/toddlers, over things that we didn't want until someone else was interested in it.  Except with Junko, it was one step further -- it wasn't that someone else was ACTUALLY interested -- just herself going through bizarre what-if scenarios in her head.

I'm glad that I'm off the ride, but in a odd way, I'm a little sad for her.

Totally agree KB.  Briefly sampled when she was at University.  Wacko and Psycho so I don't put up with drama when my dime is on the table.  Dont' know if any here noticed but I took a whack at the "good grinz" fm boyz (Oldee, etc) in the KB thread on the other  forum.  Reminded them purpose is too report on PUSSY not good times and tasty food.  Sorry somewhat an old school traditionalist.  Predictably some defensive but overall for the short term the food critics seem to have cutback some on their useless info.  If any here were part of that clique, sorry bout that, but hope members here fully support the primary directive.

I concur. Knew her for several years. I think I met her at Golden Flower(?), where Nirvana is located. I visited her place on Atkinson, a place on Kalakaua, was she ever at one of the Ward tri-plex?, her condo, then last at University. Even went out for drinks with her. I got fed up with the bi-polar BS. Never been to her current place in CS. Tempted to see her, though realize it won't be the experience it used to be due to her paranoia.
